Thank you, thank you very much, Dice

Our eldest daughter sent us these pics from Westlock, Alberta where they've already had quite a bit of snow and cold. It's always sad when we can't be together for holidays, but at least she's having friends in on Monday, and she's never far from our thoughts.

    Happy holidays anyway.
We have to celebrate Thanksgiving early.

    Turkeys...

Indigenous turkeys were all but extinct in Ontario 20 years ago. Then someone came up with the bright idea of reintroducing them from the States... Well, the damn thing bred, holy smoke. We've got like a gazillion of them around here... and the fattest, slowest wild canine and feline species in North America now!!!

They have since discovered we still still have cougars... no, no the real ones... in our midst. (You can't get rid of the other ones ) They are so illusive... again the real ones... but the turkey either slows them down or puts them to downright sleep, very similar to the other ones.

Thanks for the well wishes. It's very colourful up here right now.

    Yup.
I drove 2.6 kilometers to the gas bar today.
    Purchased 56.67 liters of fuel.
Paid for it with loonies and twoonies.
