meters
im looking to buy a newmeter. i ahve a feildpiece meter but have nothing but problems with it. it reads ghost voltage and if i check high voltage it starts up at like 300 volts and slowly counts down to 120.i did send the meter back and fieldpiece said it was the fuse. so i replaced the fuses they sent me and the same problem.its the hs36. i would like to get another feildpiece but im a little iffy.i also have 3 heads for the fieldpiece.so im looking for some help. what is the best meter 2 go with?

Fluke makes a nice meter ,but i still prefer my Simpson 260

I have almost always bought Fluke,I was displeased any other time.I still have my first meter(Fluke 30) and it works just like it did when it was purchased.

The Fluke 116 is a good meter for this trade. You will need a separate amp meter. Fluke makes excellent clamp meters, thermometers or anything else you require.
