Vision pro 8000 set points
I've read the setup book and also asked some of my mates who also work in the trade and came up with nothing.
Is there a way for me to have a heating set point of 68* and a cooling set point of 72* and if I have a call for either, it will cool/heat until it reaches 70*? My heat pump cycles on and off too much just because it heats/cools one degree very quickly. I also have a vaulted ceiling in my main living space, so I suspect this is part of the issue of the fast temp change.
Any help would be greatful.
Thanks

cycle per hours
you could changes the cycles per hour as the default is 5 times an hour, set to a lower number. But why would it be coming on so much? Need more insulation ? Better windows? T-stat defective? [I have an 8000 right here thats Tango Uniform.
The deadband fine tuning may help too..
check the install manual for the advice you need, call your pro for the proper solution. The unit is just trying to satisfy the thermostat.
They are complex and can be confusing.

The Vision Pro series doesn't allow for temp offset like you want. But, as above. You can set the CPH to a lower number. And may like the improvement it makes on your run time.

I am in the trades as well, just started my 4th year apprenticeship. I just bought my house, which I had it built brand new. It was a cheaper home, so I know they didnt use top notch everything. Maybe I need to have the attic reblown with more insulation...
So, I'll change the cycles per hour down a notch and see if that works.
Thanks for the suggestions.
