    Scrap coils

    Does anyone know a easier way to get end tubes off sheet metal after cutting down evap coils? got 600bucks today but could have had more if i could get them all off..

    Use a wood blade makes it even easier to pull the U-tubes.

    Just out of curiosity, how many coils did you cash in to reach that 600 bucks?

    I keep hearing different points of the wood blade and metal blade,all i know they are a pain in the ass...I had 14 coils all shapes and sizes a couple of slant coils.linesets and scrap copper too,started saving in june

    Cut close to the inside of the sheet metal, bang the u tubes and sheet metal plate on the table, they will break loose.

    I cut real close to the sheet metal on the coil side with a metal blade, the lay the sheet metal down and pop the tubes out with a screw driver placed through the u, some times can get 3 or 4 out at a time
