    Geothermal & Well for Irrigation

    What type of geothermal system would lend itself to providing for a well for lawn irrigation? My thoughts, why not kill two birds with one stone.

    pump and dump(open loop) with a well sized for both

    The down side to an open loop is build up of lime inside the pipes reducing the efficiency over time.
