OK, I have a question for all of you taking fish oil pills.

I'm trying to figure out a way to ask this gracefully...

You all talk about "fish burps"

What does it do to the other end?

unless u usually get "gassy" from just plain fish, i don't think there should be any issue.

I'm headed to CVS right now and will pickup some Enteric Coated ones, if it will help stop some of my joint pain... I'll buy you a Coke! (NOT!)

Remember, you are treating an inflammatory condition. Give it a month and then report back.

I take fish oil mostly for heart, cholesterol, although it is supposed to help with inflammation. I take it with food and never had a "taste" problem.

For joints I took Glucosamine and Chondroitin the "Bio-Flex" formula. When I would forget to take it, I noticed the pain got worse. It doesn't take all the pain away but it does make things more tolerable.

My heart doctor has me on it for my heart and colesteral. I did not know that it would be good for joint pain also. Could be my joints would be worse than they are if I did not take it?

I've been taking Glucosamine (and chondroitin) for years but I can't honestly say it does me any good. I did get some Fish Oil pills last night but I couldn't find the enteric ones. I did some that Says, No Taste (from CVS). I taken one so far... I don't like burping nasty dead rotting stinking fishes! I'll get back to you if the cat starts following me around.

I had purchased the caps mentioned in the link above at the grocery store. Mine are supposed to be "de-fished" but I froze them anyway. I also bought some CO-Q10 caps.
