Ya, but the stupid liquor store down the street doesn't carry Cabo yet. Hey, if you want to try a real good tequila, try El-Toro......it'll knock your socks off man.

Why don't you try not drinking and do something to improve your mind like read a book.

I figured out 30 years ago that drinking alcohol was a losing proposition and will ultimately ruin your life.

There is nothing wrong with alcohol or almost anything else if it is consumed in moderation.
If he were to say he couldn't decide between ice cream and a piece of a piece of chocolate cake would you tell him to skip dessert and go for a run instead?
The problem for some people is that they have no self control.
Most people are able to enjoy a drink while reading a book at the same time.
People who are weak and have no self control are the ones who must abstain.

This is true to a point but unfortunately most do not moderate their excesses. As far as the ice cream or cake depending on the person yes I would. For instance if it were my friend Robo yes I would as I would for myself.
Seaton is by all accounts a good guy I just disagree with most of his personal and political proclivities. With what he has going on in his life right now I suspect his drinking is more for pain deadening than a simple dinner aperitif.

Those who restrain desire do so because theirs is weak enough to be restrained. (William Blake)
