Dumb Bastard did you see the meal and booze he had just before the event. Fixacr, Robo is a great guy and has had a long history of heart problems he knows better but will not change.

Hope he gets better soon and he will be in our prayers.

I complained that neither he nor Jim called and invited me. I would have eaten Robo's portion to save him all that pain.

I very much appreciate the sentiments.....I think.

The meal was great, even greater that it was free (most likely due to Heybob's wife. Yea, try to figure out "that" connection). However, the meal had nothing to do with the heart attack. It was caused by a blood clot in my heart.

Doc says I was real lucky that it occurred where there were about a dozen tiny cappilary tubes that allowed the blood to bypass and even fill up the other side of the blocked artery. So, very little if any permanent damage was done to my heart, as was the case in my first heart attack over seven years ago.

They say the Lord works in mysterious ways. Well, having Heybob and Captain (Jim Davis) CO as your guardian angels is even stranger then I was thinking. These two stayed with me while I was deciding if I was really in trouble or not and made certain that I got to the hospital and had my medical history cards for the docs.

Once again, my sincerest thanks for the thoughts and prayers. I am one who believes that God listens to us and allows us leiniencies for those who are prayed for.

It could have happened when you were in Houston with Bill and I. I have always wanted to practice open heart surgery, a little N2 to blow out those clots and you would have been in fine shape.

I had Mexican food and BBQ that night. Along with the other stuff I was pouring down my throat, that would have been a good night for it.

Somehow I think I'm glad that Bob and Jim were with me
