    Well i originally took these pics because of the lazyness of this installer to use this track pipe vs. B.I. but since everyone loved the copper gas line on prevois post i thought i would show all you copper haters some more not that i agree with it or like it but it's there an i have to deal.

    Wow

    At least they used brazing.
    I saw a water heater today that had lead solder on copper pipe to the control valve.

    Hmm

    First picture,

    Ya think they could have used a few pieces of pipe, a 90, & a union. (doesn't take that long)

    Forth picture,

    Ya think they got that tee hot enough to braze it to the floor?? :-)

    Seen worst, but these anit pretty either. :-(

    Those phos joints are all crysalized and a sure sign stress crack are going to form!

    Don't be too hard on the guy, he probably had a boss like mine. Breathing down his neck on hours bid. Probably the best job he could do given the time alloted. Because we all know that the speed of the job is what makes our bosses retire earlier,,lol.

    talk about code violations to many to count. whoever did that didn't save any time, it would take me longer, alot longer to do it that way.

    Now, now, guys! Let's look at the bright side. At least he shut off the gas main before he did all of that welding, so he DID do something right.

    On the other hand, what're the chances he checked all those joints for leaks?
