When properly installed and configured by a professional (which you may be, I don't know you) this is an excellent thermostat for that application. In fact, it is perhaps my favorite thermostat to install because of its versatility and easy operation for customers.

Your other post, don't indicate that you are in the HVAC industry.

You said your a draftsman in one of them.

Are you DIY, or do you have a bad contractor that doesn't answer your questions.

The TH8321 is a good stat for most any heat pump. Depends on teh application though.
