would this thermostat be appropriate or too complicated for a heat pump as below

Your other post, don't indicate that you are in the HVAC industry.
You said your a draftsman in one of them.
Are you DIY, or do you have a bad contractor that doesn't answer your questions.
The TH8321 is a good stat for most any heat pump. Depends on teh application though.
