    calling timeouts during FG attemps

    Philips used it sunday in the closing winning FG...seems to me to be a chicken S*** act. the NFL should limit it up to right before the offense sets up to kick it.

    I agree its always bothered me.

    I think Football should do something similar to what Baseball does. If the batter wants time out he asks the umpire, if the umpire feels the pitcher is already starting his windup he doesn't have to grant it. In Football if the ball is just about to be snapped in the refs opinion, and its just a psych atttempt he should be able to ignore the request.
