Andy Mckee cover of "africa" by Toto

For those of you who know the song Africa by the group from the 80's named Toto you will enjoy this, for those of you who don't.............you will enjoy it also.

Great cover of a great song, he does the bass and the main riff......just watch and enjoy.

I like Andy Mckee, he one of my favorite musicians. Another good musician is Carlos Santana, if you like the sound of a guitar.

That's like saying Eric Clapton plays pretty good guitar.

Andy Mckee and Don Ross have played together several times. Both are masters of the alternative tuning style.

Don is the only person to win the U.S. National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship...twice.

Anyway you look at it, it's amazing guitar. Apparently, that video of Andy playing Africa was yanked from YouTube by the record label he signed to, Candyrat Records.

You're right... But then they pulled it for some unknown reason after some 9,000,000 hits according to wiki... Or at least their name/rights to it.

It's still all over YouTube, but not associated with Candyrat. It probably has something to do with the original publisher not giving to rights to open internet on something like YouTube, I dunno.

Plug in Andy Mckee Candyrat. Lots of his other stuff comes up but Africa won't show. Looks like most of the stuff that does show still associated with Candyrat is original music and labeled that way as well.
