    Question About TXV

If you have a condenser that has a Fixed Orifice for metering refrigerant and a TXV at the indoor evaporator coil what type of system do you have? Would a service tech determine that it is a TXV system in the summer and a Fixed Orifice system in the winter?

Heat pumps can have outdoor pistons too.
