the towering Goodman

I spotted this and was so shocked, I ran home to get my camera. I have never seen anything mounted this high up in the air, you could probably lean on the damn thing and push it over.
I feel sorry for whoever has to service this thing. Notice the coil guard is missing, guess no one was brave enough to climb up there and put it back on!

It's a little hard to tell by the pics but the downhill side of that stand looks to be at least six feet tall.
You couldnt pay me any amount to work on that thing. Imagine trying to change out the CF motor!

It should have a flashing light to keep airplanes from crashing into it.

What city and whats the point of all that . A adjustable roof curb would have to cost alot less then then that control tower stand. You can bet there is a home owner engineer involved with this.

That is so wrong on so many...er...levels.
But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.---Psalm 50:16-17

Classy. What do they have against split systems and putting stuff on the ground out there? Or do they use package units because theres no refrigerant or anything to handle, just slap it in and turn it on?
