    Packaged Heat Pumps

Anybody knows what components are required in a packaged heat pump system besides the main conventional components, Evap, cond, TXV, compressor, dryer, reversing valve?

On residential heat pumps, is there one TXV or two TXVs?
Is the charge generally more in cooling mode than the heating mode?
Is there an accumulator and/or receiver required for the system?

I am assuming the heat pump has an active defrost (reverse cycle).

I assume you are refering to a self contained factory packaged unit. In which case, it would come from the factory ready to wire and run sans external controls, bolt on accessories (options) and duct connections.

How many times must one fix something before it is fixed?
