keystroke for °
For anyone interested, holding down the alt key while pressing 0176 and releasing will generate the unicode that results in °.
Once having entered that in a thread you can copy and paste it as an easier way of generating the character from that point on in a thread.

° (Alt 0176) or º (Alt 167) either seem to work, the Alt 0176 looks a bit smaller.
