WELL... based on what I have been told, not backed up with proof though, some OEMs have a agreement with "T" that if they ever quit selling to them because of change of marketing, they would get the source code to "NFW" & could then re-bottle it. And no it was not "LS" that told me that.

Again, take it for a grain of salt, but I would hope the OEMS have a solid "protection" plan in place prior to "HW" purchasing "T", especially the companies that base their sole core business around "T/NFW". Could it ever happen, absolutely, things change all the time!

    Yeah, right.

The question should not be If Honeywell pulls AX, but WHEN????

Having worked for a Honeywell service branch years ago, I was once told by corporate that we accounted for 7% of Honeywell employees and 26% of the corporate profits. Honeywell construction division regularly lost money but the service division always made money. With Honeywell Spyder controllers being programmable only through the JACE and you can reverse compile the code, do you think this will make life easy for Honeywell when it becomes time to reclaim the installed base for the branches service division?

If you install Spyder and AX, I hope you own lots of Honeywell Stock so you'll have some benefit when you lose your clients.
