finding work
I am just wandering what kind of job I should to expect to get comming out of school. I have put in probably 200 resumes even though every single company hiring says they need at least 5 years experience. Those resumes have gone out to everything from apt maintenance (which I really don't want to do) to commercial refrigeration (which I would love to do)
I mean really, what should I be looking for with only schooling under my belt. no one is calling.

My wife works for a major spermarket chain and the have all of their refrigeration work done by union companies.
Is that what you mean? If so I am probably going to try the union which I really don't want to do. But it seems like all of the commercial stuff around here is union.

I would think economy also but there are plenty of job postings, and as I have heard the good techs with all of the experience should be comfortable where they are.
another thing is these companies ar offering way less than what a "experienced" tech would take. So there shouldn't be that much competition.

No we are not union. But unions in the south are few and far between.

Don't get down!
Have you had your resume scrutinized?
Why would be going to the union be a bad thing?I STARTED WITH NOTHING, AND I STILL HAVE MOST OF IT!

I am accustomed to working for myself and eventually will go on and start my own refrigeration company.
I am far from down. I know everything will work out. I was just looking for some advice from people who have been there.
thanks to everyone who has replied just feeling welcome helps.
