Thread: finding work

I am just wandering what kind of job I should to expect to get comming out of school. I have put in probably 200 resumes even though every single company hiring says they need at least 5 years experience. Those resumes have gone out to everything from apt maintenance (which I really don't want to do) to commercial refrigeration (which I would love to do)
I mean really, what should I be looking for with only schooling under my belt. no one is calling.

Did you try your local union hall?"Excellence is the gradual result of always striving to do better"

Is that what you mean? If so I am probably going to try the union which I really don't want to do. But it seems like all of the commercial stuff around here is union.

another thing is these companies ar offering way less than what a "experienced" tech would take. So there shouldn't be that much competition.

Don't get down!
Have you had your resume scrutinized?
Why would be going to the union be a bad thing?I STARTED WITH NOTHING, AND I STILL HAVE MOST OF IT!
