Our Rotary Club took on a project to restore a cast iron fountain that once was infront of an old school. The fountain is 135 years old. We got it back to 'almost oginial'. Here is the finished fountain after the restoration.
The next step is to get this fountian over into the Town park were it will be an operating fountain. It was up to me to pick out a pump and do the piping to the fountain. I bought a 325 gal tank which will be underground. The following pics. show the testing I did today. I think it will work great. I had to make a 2x4 stand to duplicate the height of the fountain.
All and All I was pretty happy with the results. Still waiting for the concrete contractor to start the basin in which the fountain will be placed.
