Credit Card Updating

I just received my new credit card. Its the same one I've been using for awhile but it has a new expiration date. Do I have to go into my existing paypal, Amazon accounts etc and update the expiration date or as long as the card number is the same it don't matter?

My ISP dumped me because the ex. date changed on my debit card.

Yes, you will need to change it, it is part of the approval process when you make a transaction. They have the expiration date on file, but they dont know what the new one is. In the past I think Paypal sent me an email when my card expired.
