Need Fireplace galss for Heat n Glow 35"x25"
I need a piece of ceramic glass 1/4 in thick by 35"x25" for a 30,000btu direct vent natural gas fireplace in the Seattle area. The company wanted about $450, and I called a couple of other people, but no luck. I know I should be able to get it for around $250. Another member on the board posted that he got one for $175 and his name was Seattle Pioneer. Can anyone help point me in the right way?

get the correct glass
With a listed appliance, you don't need just 'glass'---you need the glas front listed for use with that fireplace. Get the model and serial #, contact the mfr. for part# or, in this case, you can contact your nearest Heat & Glo dealer.
What happened to the old glass? Did it shatter? If so, you really should have a pro service the fireplace before you put new glass in. I've seen this dozen's of times where there is a problem that keeps shattering glass. The Fp should be serviced annually anyway.
HearthmanKeep the fire inside the fireplace.
