A sad day at UA 172, we lost a good man
A update to what Pilotlight, had in his post "Be careful out there".
Allen was a fellow brother at UA local 172, our paths crossed many times since we had a lot of customers in common. Never saw him in a bad mood when he had a crappy job to do or otherwise. Here is the link for an update on the situtation.

If you watch the video, it does say he was electrocuted by his trouble lite, of all things.
Rest in peace, Allen, rest in peace, my brotherLast edited by ndfrozen; 08-28-2009 at 01:32 PM. Reason: missing words
So you didn't ask, what you though was a stupid question. Now how, are you going to tell the boss about your stupid screw up?

RIP Brother....

It looks like a GFI could have saved his life.
He should have also been following confined space SOP.
My condolences to his family in their time of loss.

Absolutely a terrible loss, because it didn't have to happen.
I take this as a wake up call.
Everyone here that doe's not check the cords on all of they're electrical devices...do it now.
What a shame that a good man has to perish this way before others wake up and follow proper procedures.
What is sadder is that he was not the first nor will he be the last.
WORK SAFE!

why???
Always the good guys and women when there are rotten b*****ds walking the streets who deserve it more than guys like this . I believe in a higher power but no priest or rabbi has ever come up with an answer to this everlasting question. I didn't know this gentleman but i know he was loved and he will RIP........Jack
