JOHNSON CONTROLS Pimpin themselves out?
Hey all
Just learned the other day that Johnson Controls works as a privatized custodial agency, are they really doing that bad?, I know that there products are garbage but do they really need to mop floors at a school. Really.
They are pimping themselves out to save their own butts, forget everyone else, look how much cheap trash is in your car made by JCI. Once the automotive crashed and they started drowning, the filthy rats are trying to board hospitals, universities, and schools as a temp. contracting agency.
Really uncool, I deleted your last two sentences, think next time.Last edited by HeyBob; 09-06-2009 at 07:45 AM.

Got that wrong bud....
A lot of major corporations bid maintenance government/corporate contracts.
Years ago, I worked for Pam Am World Services. That was the major airline at the time who also had government contracts for "maintenance". We were bought out by JCI.
You will find Siemens, G.E., Rocketdyne, Computer Science Corp. just to mention a few do the same thing. No biggie and nothing new....Life is too short, Behappy!

JCI had a maintenance contract for a large private school I know.
They were not very good at it.[Avatar photo from a Florida training accident. Everyone walked away.]

JCI Worldwide Services has been doing this for many years, at least 15 to 20, nothing new here. Owned by JCI but a completely different division from their fledgling service division.
Your poor planning does not constitute an emergency on my part!!!!

This is the going trend. In bizz. school they teach about core competencies. I work for a major airlines and the core bizz is to put people in an aluminum tube and send them to grandmas house. I do inhouse maint. and we know our days are numbered because the airline does not want to do their own service, construction and maint. work anymore. There are many contract maint. companies out there and many more will spring up as companies pass on this type of work. The joke is that we'll work on our same boilers and chillers that we have for 20 yrs., with a differant shirt on, for less money. You have to laugh to keep from crying.

I like PMI, but not very fond of M5. We have both, but they are slowly transitioning to
M5. I guess it is all the pretty graphics.Installs, Changeouts, & Heat Stroke.....not necessarily in that order
