Trane chiller
I am installing a RTWA 125 ton used chiller and was wondering if it matters whitch way the condincing water flowes and if you can move the crossover tube that connects the two barrowes to the other side Thanks Dan

Hi
check the instalation manual that came with the unit.
if i remember it shouldnt be a problem but that depends on site
you would have to move the sensors to .
check with a trane rep to be 100 % sure

For RTWA the counterflow subcooler design requires non-interchangeable waterboxes so if you want it to work correctly water connections are right side when facing the control panel - direction of flow is also critical for unit performance. Refer pages 18-21 of attached.

I agree, sorry didn't look at the date of the OP. The reply came up as a new post but was thinkin this is an old chiller to be installing on a new site.
