York purge drum replacement repipe
York types:
Got a replacement drum from York, P/N 375-21362-000 and I am trying to get an instruction sheet to see what York wants upgraded. Looks like the same tank with a few different fittings. Anyone have a cut sheet on this tank? thanks.

Just curious, what led you to replace the entire drum/tank?
I've got one with a bad top level switch. I plan to replace the switch assembly, which I have done before on the older version.God Bless the USA

Should have just scrapped it and went with a Purifier or a Redi purge. JMHO
Your poor planning does not constitute an emergency on my part!!!!

I'll third abs and dad, but now that you've got what you've got, you'll need to change the inlet fittings to SAE straight-thread o-ring fittings as necessary, or order the old tank if available (don't know if it was discontinued) and send the new style tank back (and suck up the restocking fee). Or, you could just call Redi and get you a Skyguard.

Oh, *&%$#@, I hope I ordered the right one.
Anybody know when they changed over?
The one I'm working on is from 1999, I think.
It looks different than the old pipe thread one, so maybe I lucked out.
It's the pump assisted type.God Bless the USA

Thanks.
This one has the hex head, and that's the number I ordered. Looks to be a 1 1/2" hex. Should be much easier than the older style that I did last time on another unit.
To get the old style out, I used a 1" drive socket upside down on the square head, with a big bolt in the socket, and a pipe wrench on the bolt.God Bless the USA
