    Razor-knife to gum? DIY dentistry?

I am thinking I can cut this sucker out, anyone ever done it? It might bleed a little, but I do not need channel-locks here, she is ready to go.. Thoughts?

It is loose from the socket, dentist is not here til maybe next week. If the gum was not stuck to it, I could lift it right out. I just don't like the idea of going poking around in there with my pocket-knife. But I doubt there is much difference.... LOL

    LOL!

The OP is the reason DIY is not allowed on this forum.

Hey, Tool. Post that on some dentists' forum and see what kind of replies you get. It should be hilarious.

Yup, it ain't coming out as easy as I thought! I took a pain-killer last night and started in on it, but I gave up pretty quick. Not saying it cannot be done, but they would have to have much more nerve than I do [or at least numbness to nerves]

Definitely not a good DIY project!
