It is loose from the socket, dentist is not here til maybe next week. If the gum was not stuck to it, I could lift it right out. I just don't like the idea of going poking around in there with my pocket-knife. But I doubt there is much difference.... LOLOriginally Posted by stonefly

Yup, it ain't coming out as easy as I thought! I took a pain-killer last night and started in on it, but I gave up pretty quick. Not saying it cannot be done, but they would have to have much more nerve than I do [or at least numbness to nerves]
Definitely not a good DIY project!
