Time for a New Recovery Unit
My current recovery unit is 15+ years old. I'm looking to upgrade to a newer, lighter unit that will handle all refrigerants. So far I'm considering: Ritchie XLT # 5760; ProMax #RG5410, and Appion G5 Twin. Anyone have experience with the aforementioned recovery units? Comments are solicited. Thank you.

I use the G5.
It's noisy and vibrates like heck, but it is a good machine.

I've got the Appion G5 Twin. Works great, it's light too.

We have at least 10 of the Appion G5s and they are lightweight and fast. Someone already mentioned they vibrate and are noisy as heck, but they work. The few times we have had problems, I was able to order the part needed and repair them myself.
