    "Inglorious Basterds"

Wife's birthday was yesterday (Sunday) and I treated her to a dinner and movie..."Inglorious Basterds". Tarentino's handprints ALL OVER this one. Total disregard for historical fact but thoroughly enjoyable film. Brad Pitt was hilarious. It is a MAN'S movie without a doubt. Lots of gore, action, adventure, pretty foul language (just like I remember the military), and...well, a very surprising and funny ending. I highly recommend it for adults. Keep the kids away.

Absolutely none. She had narrowed it down on her own to "9th District" and "IB", finally deciding on "IB". My wife is different from most. She really enjoys a great action flick. Heck, she even sits through 6 hours of pro football on Sunday.

Funny thing is, she likes all that 19th century English classics movies as well. THAT drives me up the wall. But I let her watch in peace knowing we can enjoy NFL and action flicks together. More than makes up for the English junk.

She is a major Steelers fan. Dice was kind enough to send her a Terrible Towel a few years back. Every Sunday we can get a Steelers game, she pulls it out and rags the 12 year old, a Panthers fan. It is a blast watching those 2 go at each other when Carolina and Pittsburgh play. Lots of family fun.

BTW, thanks again, Diceman. We both appreciate your kindness and generosity.

I will not watch a movie with Brad Pitt or Clooney in it. I am sorry but an anti american liberal making a war film just sucks.

I know Clooney is a loon. I wasn't aware Pitt had expressed political leanings.

He is right in there with all of that Oceans Eleven crowd, Clooney,Damon,Julia Roberts and Elliot Gould. He has done some good things but he just a fruit loop, talks about being Mayor of New Orleans running on the Gay Marriage, legalize drugs ticket.

I dunno. I seldom read reviews. They don't like what I like.
