at what point are we gonna reach critical mass and implode due to the fact no one will pay for anything they want or need. This is incredible. Absolutely incredible.

Government Obamafare. This dude is gonna create a generation of people who don;t do nothing but spunge of the system. We can't cover it. We will implode.

Didn't we exist before cell phones?
I had no idea they were necessities, I thought they were options.

    I remember life before cell-phones.

It was quiet and peaceful and nice.

    The good old days.
The way this story is told, makes you think people can't survive without them.
I don't mind buying food for the less fortunate but, paying for them to have a cell phone, just isn't right.

I don't mind helping out the less fortunate. What bothers me is being taken advantage of. This is a great example of that.

A cell phone is nice to have sometimes, but some people would see them differently if they were REQUIRED to carry one as I (and many others here) am (are?)

They'd think differently if they had to pay for them too.

[QUOTE=jpsmith1cm;4214552]I don't mind helping out the less fortunate./QUOTE]

This isn't helping out the less fortunate. The government is stealing from us, by gunpoint if needed, and giving it to their chosen class. Its immoral.

I hear radio commercials for a government program like this in PA, it makes me sick. Why do poor people need cell phones? So they could call their kids on their way from work? If they had jobs, they wouldn't need the dole. People who take advantage of this program are panhandling BEGGARS!

I have a no good, can't work, holding out for a management position relative who is under house arrest for drugs. Can't leave the house my Grandma (91 yo) pays rent on, with digital cable and big screen TV. But he has a cell phone! He should call this program and save Grandma some money.
