I found an old movie camera. The owners said they never saw it before, but then the uncle came in. He quickly grabbed it out of my hands and ran out the door. I think he knew what it was.

Cleaned the ducts in a bar once and found $63 in small bills wrapped around the squirrel cage. The heat exchanger had holes big enough for me to put my hand thru! Gave it all to the new owner figuring it might help ease his pain of having to buy a new furnace. Also found a large cache of money bags once, but called the homeowner in before removing them and never did find out what was inside.

Lots of dead mice, chipmunks, bats, birds, one flying squirrel, several live kittens (the owner lets them play inside) and the legs of one dead one that fell onto the heat exchanger and couldn't get out! Couldn't resist and she turned a dozens of green when I showed them to her!

Porn magazines, cigarettes and ashtrays. Live ammo a few feet away from the heat exchanger and the usual dirt, toys, cards, marbles and coins.

I remember my dad sellin a dragster. He put 16 grand in a mason jar and hid it in the ashes of his garage woodstove so ma wouldnt find it.

That fall there was a cold night. You havent guessed it all. He came to work the next day with the crap burned outa his hands. Remembered right on time, good thing there was a lack of oxygen in that jar. That x-mas my bonus was in charred bills! [just 10 of the 160]
My doctor gave me six months to live, but when I couldn't pay the bill he gave me six months more.

I was doing a change out on a package unit & repairing some holes in the ductwork under a house when I noticed a whole family of possums in the ductwork. I called animal control but they wouldn't come out so I left the duct open over night & returned in the morning & they appeared to be gone. Finished the job & noticed a few of the little ones hanging around under the house. I never had any more problems so I guess they all got out of the ductwork.

Why wouldn't you take a duck out and either release it or put it out of its misery?

I found a mercury head 1949 dime, couple crayons and a sterling silver baby spoon when I helped demo my old gas gravity octopus.
