They gave a kid a boatload of money and fame , i'm not surprised he wasn't mature enough to handle it and let his friends and some of his own family take him down. He lost all of his money and spent almost two years in jail. He's kept his nose clean since then and is saying and doing the right things. I say he deserves a second chance. He will be highly scrutinized at all times so he won't be able to screw up again or he's done. The 1.5 million he'll make this year won't erase his debt, and the second year is only an option. He has no choice but to perform. Maybe he has learned his lesson. I know losing a 130 million dollar contract and all those endorsement deals would make me take a step back and re-evaluate my life.

I am the captain of my soul.

You are right, she didn't go to jail. Of course, she wasn't an NFL player, if that matters to the discussion.
We need to remember that Michael Vick did not hurt any people in his crimes. Also remember that Dante Stallworth may have killed that man if he had been sober, and he made no effort to run away or get away with it. The two crimes and punishments are apples and oranges.Jason

Yes she is not an NFL player but her parents after they washed the blood off of her car hired a well known Attorney Barry Cohen, Jennifer got inless trouble for killing 2 kids than a taecher did for having sex with one of her students.
Our criminal justice system is screwed up.
In some case celebrities get a break, sometimes they get hammered.
