    reversing the direction of the ac fan

    A Dayton 1/3 horsepower 1075 RPM motor was just installed in my outside unit. The fan is spinning CCW and sending the air down rather then up.

    How do you change the direction of the spin? The label on the motor says CW/CCW.

    They tried switching the wires on the run capacator but that did not work.

    Any ideas?

    A good HVAC contractor should know how to do this.
