    York Screw Chiller

Starting service work on a mn: yscadas2-chas York chiller. Does anybody have any service lititure for these machines? JCI is no help of course. Rebuild instructions for the slide valve would also be helpful. My e-mail is in my profile. Thanks.

jci passed judgment on themselves by their own actions, they don't need our help.

I think you're talking about the DXS slide valve service bulletin, or maybe the slide valve retrofit for the YR's. Don't think there's ever been anything put out on the YS's (officially) - Frick don't want liability for someone who hasn't been through formal training getting killed when they release the tension on the return spring inadvertently.

Yep you got that right !
Arguing with your Boss is like wrestling with a pig in
    mud.
After a while you realize that while you are getting
dirty, the pig is actually enjoying it.

It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it
    creative problem solving.

Are you having a particular problem with the slide valve?

Just found out they no longer support any of the ISN stuff.
Like from 5 years ago, even.

That'll do wonders for customer loyalty.
