Here is a neat slide show of a roll of film I took as my 11 year old, Michelle, learned to waterski out at our new cottage. The boat and driver is my neighbor there, Robert, and really great person, ex-policeman.
Day one, she is on the pole, day 2 she is on the rope. The first 3 photos were supposed to be "scenic" but there was not enough light. The lady in the boat is my wife Lucie.

Look at that smooooooth water. When I taught the niece to ski, she didn't have a pole and it we had 3' waves! Where were you, Don? Charter a helicopter to get those pix?

Nice pictures. Looks like you will be in the market for a boat and slalom ski soon.

Yeah, I had never seen a pole before, it really helped her a lot, let her get the feel and then the next time she was up first time on the rope!Originally posted by BaldLoonie

The ones on the pole, I was on the boathouse with my zoom lens and the ones on the rope, I was in the boat, with my fingers crossed! The pics were taken with my Canon S-10 35mm and the developing shop scans them to the web for you, pretty neat.
Yeah, you can believe that Michelle has been saying the same thing! Somehow our brand new kayak just doesn't quite cut it anymore.Originally posted by acmanko

James, the slide show thing is a java program I think, so it may take a while to load, try just waiting a while.
Here are a couple of stills. James, this girl is one of your fans and still has a picture of Froggy and Kramer on her wall.

Cool! I taught my daughter and a bunch of her friends how to water ski and they still talk about it to this day.

Don we bought a new Sea Doo deckboat this year for the express purpose of teaching step daughter to ski.
She is 21 and never done water sports before she loves it.
The enjoy the towables even more not as tiring.
We are going out tomorrow with her and a few of her friends.
Sea Doo is a Canadian company very nice boat.
