    There were a number of other break ins, on this same street, in the last few weeks.

    Mostly elderly people live there.
    Wanna bet the burglaries stop now?

    I feel for the kid.
    It was totally justifiable but,still... not a pleasant thought.

    Someone kicked in my front door today. They ran when they realized my wife was at home. We were lucky.

    Unfortunately my wife is not a shooter. She just doesn't have the right mindset, nevermind the training. I'm different, though. Since he had something in his hand that could be used as a weapon, I would have just shot him. Twice.

    She's fine. They were just looking for some easy pickings, in an empty house! She said she never saw someone run so fast, when he realized the house wasn't empty.

    Wish I could teach her to how and when to shoot, but as some of us know there's a lot more to it than hitting a paper target.
