What do you use on the internet?

Ok, just as a curiosity, what do you use to access the internet? I'm not talking about your computer, I'm talking about your browser. Senior just installed the latest Internet Explorer which surprised me as I thought Internet Explorer was dead () without upgrades much less new versions!

    I have used both.

When I had Dial-up, I used Firefox because it seemed to run a little faster and it also was the only browser that I could find that would allow me to access my company E-mail account.

Now that I'm on a cable connection with a wireless router, I find myself going back to IE simply because it's there.

At home, Firefox most of the time, sometimes Konqueror or Epiphany. Of course, I use Ubuntu at home, too, so I have more choices. At the office, Firefox. I hate IE.

Used Netscape for ever because it would remember my passwords. Now Flock or Firefox.

Oops, I voted but didn't post. I use (and have for years) Mozilla Firefox. I'm functionally illiterate on I.E. now--they just don't have the interface Firefox does. Besides the security.

    Firefox, very pleased with them...
(The wise men of modern thought) adore a god made of putty or of wax - plastic, effeminate, molluscous, with no masculine faculty about him, and no quality that entitles him to the respect of just and honest men, for a being who cannot be angry at wrongdoing is destitute of one of the essential virtues, and a moral Ruler who is not angry with the wicked, and who refuses to punish crime, is not divine. ---Spurgeon

Internet Destroyer will exist for as long as Microsoft is making operating systems.

I've used Firefox for years, used Opera before that, and Netscape before that.

I was using Netscape when it was the only web browser there was, then Microsoft came out with Internet Destroyer and tried to charge people for it, so I just said "no thanks". I never had much use for it after it became free, or later when it became basically part of Windows. About the only thing I use it for is windows update, but I can do that from within Firefox now.

Same here. Firefox/Thunderbird is about the closest thing I have seen to old Netscape.
