    Have a weird one guys need your help!!

    Customer needed a new condensor and wanted a Ducan! I tryed talking him out of it but he insisted so thats what we put in! 2 ton,13 seer, R22...

    OK heres what its doing! we got 65 psi on the low side and 200 psi on the high.

    we have around a 20 degree temp drop between return air and supply air.

    But the system has been running for three hours and temp has only dropped two degrees. its around 80 degrees outside.

    the suction line is not sweeting and the condisate has only dripped two litttle drops in the time its been running.

    we have a high superheat of 26...and our subcooling is 12.....

    but what we cant figure out is its cooling the air but something is off...the return air temp was 78 and it was blowing aroung 59 degrees?

    dose any one have any suggestions???

    No i did not replace the coil..i did however change the piston in the metering devise!

    Well, you got one problem right there.

    You now have a 2 ton condenser, probably only ale to do 1.5 to 1.7 tons of work.

    ok! I will def intro myself in the forums..and i dont want to keep asking questions in here because you just told me we cant disscuss this in here but the condensor i took out was also a 2 ton...
