Poor Cooling on 3rd Floor Apartments

Original call: AC just can't keep up in the heat of the day. That last pic is where the siding has rotted out and pigeons have taken up residency in the walls. The only thing separating the apartment and the 100 degree heat is 5/8" sheet rock, and a little insulation the birds have yet to remove.

Pic 3: Don't we all wake up every day enthused at the prospect of getting on a roof with 3" of pigeon poop?

Is there a dryer vent close by.

I would recomend to the customer that the electrical is unsafe and note it on the work order and make sure you get a signature. Just to cover your own butt.

    Condenser Blanket?

I've heard of compressor jackets but not condenser blankets. It might make a good blanket for winter.

Learn the process not the procedure--the process will dictate the procedure-If ya understand how it works ya knows how to fix it!

I have seen one just about as bad. Lady had 5 persian cats that laid beside condensor. Was easy to clean though just peeled off a solid mat of cat hair.

Unit looks to be a Rheem.
