Trane XB13 or XR14...HELP
I am replacing my current unit with a 4 ton R-410A and new coil. They will need to put in new lines and have to reposition my humidifier. I am leaning towards a 4 ton Trane XB13 with 4 ton coil (not Trane coil). Due to the inefficiency of my current unit, I qualify for a $650 credit from our power company.
I also received a quote for the 4 ton XR14 with a 4 ton Trane coil.
Both of these units come with 10 yr on Compressor, 5 year on parts and 2 year on labor so warranties are the same.
Are these decent units? Is the XR14 worth the extra $700? I am only planning on being in my house another 6 years.
Thanks and appreciate the feedbackLast edited by Jayhawk23; 07-01-2009 at 08:28 AM.
