PLEASE HELP
I recently had central air installed carrier unit with a carrier edge digital thermostat. my problem is that my heat thermostat is a honeywell digital t-stat installed in my living room and my cac t-stat is installed upstairs in my hallway and they read about 4 degrees diff. the upstairs stat is reading less than downstairs and being that heat rises I thought it would read higher the honeywell is a year old. shouldnt both stats read the same Temp?even if one is upstairs and one is downstairs or does my system need to be better balanced?

I would measure accurate temperatures with a calibrated thermometer at each location. Air temperatures can vary more than you may expect.
Set them to your comfort.
