Derating furnace - adjust pressure or change orifice?

For derating a furnace, what iss the correct method - adjusting pressure or changing the orifices, or both?

I'm at 5000ft. I suspect my furnace wasn't derated when installed. Would I save money if I had someone adjust it?

The installation instruction of all furnaces give details on how to adjust for higher altitudes. You should have het installer return and set-up te unit correctly... or pay a pro to do it.

Incorrect airflow can cause improper burn resulting in higher CO levels, soot, and lower efficiency.

Both need to be done by a pro.
