    Programmable thermostat with heating and cooling both active?

    Most thermostats are in either heating or AC mode. There's a manual change between the two.

    Anyone seen a residential thermostat that doesn't require a manual change? In late spring, some Midwestern states oscillate by upward of 25 degrees in a day.
