IQ Drive in attic?
My air-handlers are in the garage and attic. There is no place to relocate them within the living area. The ducts are in the attic and all rigid (except for one return air), and Florida Power and Light performed a duct test and said they were in excellent condition.
The current attic air-handler is a horizontally mounted three ton Rheem 12.3 (approx) SEER. Would it be possible to mount a two ton IQ Drive air handler in the same space? I know it's impossible to say without seeing it, but I'm not going to bother a contractor if the IQ Drive air handler has to be mounted vertically, or if it is huge compared to a Rheem circa 2001.
Thanks, Rick DeBay

Yes, the IQ Drive can be installed horizontally.
