    Business is GOOD!

So says my former utility company co-worker who took over my fireplace repair business two year ago.

He's staying quite busy and is finding a fair amount of work installing new gas log sets and such.

Personally, I always favored having business dry up during the summer, which was my play time. But some people are made of sterner stuff.

    So..........

    How's business these days?

Business is just the way I like it for the summer.......just enough to pay the bills and give me time to play in the sand and work on the tan!!!

Business for me is too slow.. But I guess that is to be expected when you are just starting up. I am 21 and just got laid off from the local school system and I figured I would try it out on my own for a while.

Steady because were in full swing with the grill business...July will be the month to gear up for fall ( showroom installs ) Predicting a busy fall I just hope it lasts longer than last year. Sales and service died mid december.

    Word of encouragement for Maverick

Maverick, It is hard when you first start up, so dont be surprised it is slow now. Be encouraged, going into the heating season it will pick up for you for sure.

My insulation contractor buddy in town is having an awful summer season with no work surprisingly and he has been at it for 20 years. He has a bad habit of spending big in the fast times, and hurting bad in the slow.
