That's sucks............uhhhhhhh, where were the keys?
One of our company trucks was stolen this afternoon at about 3:35 pm while I was taking some complimentary pens to a client store in the Franklin Mills Mall in Northeast Philadelphia.
It is a 2006 E250, no markings or logos. The side door has a previously damaged key lock that was covered over. PA tag YVR-2843
Insurance will cover the truck, along with company and personal tools, but be aware that this took only 90 seconds, while I stepped inside to deliver the pens, following a PM visit.
If you are in the vicinity, someone may try to sell you:
Ladders: 8 ft, 10 ft, 28 foot extension
Robinair 15600 vac pump
New Yellow Jacket micron gauge
Richie gauge sets
Dell laptop
Canon SD-900 digital camera
Appion G5 twin
Victor oxy mini set
And of course, a lot of things too numerous to be mentioned here.
And be careful out there. I may only be alive because they waited until I went inside.

Had one stolen about 5 years ago...moron tech left it running, "I only ran in the shop for a second to grab something".
He came out to see it going around the corner, they found it a couple of days later minus all the tools. And as a added bonus they lit it up...toast.
Dam that sucks. It's only going to get worse out their so we must watch our back's all the time.I'm glad to here your ok.
I love the smell of phosgene first thing in the morning:

A previous employer had a couple of trucks stolen while I was there.
One was over the weekend. They broke into the shop and loaded everything they wanted into one and off to Topeka they went. I took about a week and a hotel manager called the number on the truck because it was parked in his lot. Wanted to know if he was missing one.
I was the only one that could work for a couple of days. I was the only one that took a truck home.
The next one was taken from a gas station that one of the guys was working at. Fixing something in a car wash with his engine running. The Hypo ran the theifs down on the turnpike.
It was standard practice just to leave the keys in the vans.
Beware of advice given by some guy on the Internet.
I think we ought to re-name this thread. Pick from one of these:
