    Site Prep

I'm scheduled to have a new Carrier system (2 HP's and furnace) installed starting on Tuesday. The units will be installed on 3 inch pads set directly on the ground. Besides getting the area leveled off and probably putting landscape fabric down, should I put down a stone base or do any other prep?

Looking forward to some cool air!

I'd leave that up to you. The pads at my house sit directly on the ground, but it wouldn't hurt anything to level out the area and put down something.
