Nexsys
I have Nexsys FSC controllers and York lon controllers connected to NAE55.
MCLtools was on the workstation but it didn't have a PCI lon card. I installed the lon card and ran the lon trunk to the PC. The database that was on the PC was from the original install and the server was someone's laptop. All the devices Neuron IDs in the database were zeroed out. I changed the server to local machine. I changed all the Neuron IDs to proper IDs. The York controllers
on the same trunk are not in the MCLtools database.
I left them out of the physical tree because they were online but some of them were bouncing.
I had issues to where I needed to upgrade the FSC controllers firmware
to the latest. So I upgraded through bulk firmware upgrade on MCLtools.
They are connected to NAE55 4.06 version.
Now most of them are online in MCLtools but offline in the NAE. There are some that show CPL files are not updated next to the controllers in the physical tree.
The process that I performed the upgrade:
Went to MCLtools performed a bulk firmware and selected send network image. Did I need to select get CPL /schedules/trends before upgrade?
I still have a backup of the old database but it doesn't have Neuron IDs.
By upgrading the firmware and sending the network image, does this wipe
out the program in the controllers? There are some points that are reading 627 deg but I don't know if those points are needed in the program.
How do I verify proper point setup?
Any help or ideas on how to get these online in MCLtools and NAE???
