    Correct Operation

I have a Carrier Infinity Heat pump with the Infinity thermostat. I have the system on cool, and the humidity level set at 48%. The air is set to comfort and the humidity removal is turned on. I assumed that when the system did not call for cool it would still come on if the humidity level was not met? I have the system set at 78 and the house temp was 77. I have the humdity set at 48% and the humidity in the house is 51%. Why isn't my system coming on and du-humidifing my home? Do I have something set wrong?

The dehum mode only reduces the fan speed when there is a call for cooling. Having the humidity set at 48 will only reduce the fan speed until it reaches 48, then the fan will increase to normal speed.

    That is not entirely correct.
