They usually go back 10 years. Just about anything will show up. Most employers are looking for deception on the applicants part. Like checking no to, "have you ever been convicted of a felony?" Many will still hire you if its far enough in the past, but get caught lying on the aplication, you'll never get hired. JMHO
Your poor planning does not constitute an emergency on my part!!!!

Yeah.... what he said. They usually go 10 years and can find out stuff you may've forgotten. Let 'em catch you lyin' and the conversation will be a short one.
The views and opinions posted here are my own. They do not reflect the corporate policies of my employer and will most likely get me fired at some point.

Have a B.B.B. report on the Co. who's interviewing you too. It goes both ways.
Start asking them "why"? haha

I wouldn't lie about it, but feel them out first before you offer it up. Sometimes people just want to hear a good story, with no intention of hiring you.

thanks for the replys, i believe honesty is the best thing to do in this situation, it wears on you, always feeling like you're hiding something and have to be so careful about what you say, get it out in the open and let the potential employer make his own conclusion
